Frequently Asked Consumer Questions
Here are some of our most frequently asked questions (FAQs) about credit and Landlord2Landlord LLC THE COMPANY
Does Landlord2Landlord use consumer credit information to market consumer products and services or sell my name to direct mail companies?
No!L2L® is a network of Landlords dedicated to closing the Gap of information in which the habitually sneaky slide into an unsuspecting landlords property. These are the same people who break down the stable atmosphere of safe and peaceful living. They also break the bank, so to speak, the landlord’s bank account, thereby breaking down the amount of money landlords can invest in amenities and maintenance. L2L® does offer to the landlord both sides of the resident performance. Therefore doing what one commits to when renting and or leasing has never been more important than it is today. Your lease report card is now available to any landlord nationwide.
Why did Landlord2Landlord turn down my request for credit?
L2L® does not make rental decisions. We only distribute the information supplied by landlords directly to the database.
How long do you keep my credit information?
Seven years if any derogatory information is contained in a file and ten years for good reports.
How does Landlord2Landlord get its information?
Directly from the Landlord himself.
What if I disagree with the information reported to the credit bureau?
We operate just like any Consumer Credit Reporting Agency (CRA) in that if you have been
turned down for credit based on information that has been supplied to a community, you applied for
residency, you may phone your request to review the information in your L2L® file, by calling
877-722-5411 M-F 9:30AM to 7 PM Eastern Time or request a copy of your file by filling out the L2L® contact us page
and request to review your consumer file. The information can be mailed or e-mailed to you. You may write us
a letter disagreeing with the information in your file. We will verify and correct any incorrect
information in your file within 30 days and notify you of what the changes were, if any. We will also
post up to 100 words of your comments in your file for any future landlords to see.
